Verizon's SongID is a pretty sweet concept.

Ever hear a song on the radio or in a store that you like but don't know the title? Verizon's V CAST SongID can listen to it and tell you what it is. Aside from visual voicemail and convergence (ala iPhone) this is a pretty innovative way to use your phone. I hope we see more ways in which our devices can help us interact with the real world, instead of keeping us apart from it.

Live action Transformers movie trailer.

It is a bit heavy on the live action and a light on the actual transforming but I am assuming that is because they are still working on many of the effects scenes.

Remember Ring gets warmer as you get closer to your anniversary.

remember ringThis concept product that may soon be sold works like this: 24 hours before the date you set the interior surface of the ring will warm to 120º F for approximately 10 seconds, and continue to warm up every hour, on the hour, all day.

I love this quote:

I got two of 'em." says Jon Harshmen, "Well, I got one actually-my wife got me the other one." Holding up his hands to show both rings he says, "Anniversary and Birthday, baby. It's like a hand gun. Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it."

Sure fire investment strategy

Mark my words: if you can get your hands on mass quantities of this toy before Christmas you will be able to make a pretty penny. I would bet that for each Pleo you buy at $200 you will be able to make at minimum 100% profit.

TiVo handles overlap with clipping

While the HD TiVo may still be aways off (mid 2006?), its nice to see they are still making progress - finally coming up with a solution to the overlapping programs problem. I can't wait for the HD TiVo which will supposedly have dual tuners and utilize the still in spec stage multistream CableCARD.
