About these photos

A great photograph has a way of inspiring awe and showing the viewer a place that is often far away and in a time that is past, as if through a window to their experience. Someday I hope some of my photographs return even a fraction of the inspiration I have received from those windows others have opened for me.

I currently make photos with a Nikon D50 digital SLR camera and use either a Nikkor 18-70mm or a Nikkor 70-300mm lens.

Most of the photos I post these days can be found on Flickr (far left). Certain photos find their way into my own personal galleries here at Alt Text (left top). And sometimes I just like to showcase the work of far better photographers in the guest showcase, (left bottom).
